A tragedy occurred in Brest on Wednesday morning: the bodies of a 35-year-old woman and her mother were found in an apartment in a high-rise building. K. and her husband are from Pruzhany. The man's daughter from his first marriage lives there. According to a source familiar with the situation, the man called her specifically after the crime.
A few years ago, the couple moved to Brest. The husband worked as a long-haul truck driver, and K. trained as a cosmetologist and ran a beauty blog, where she sometimes shared details about her personal life. From her publications, it is known that the couple was expecting a child in 2013.
“When my husband is not around, I always sleep in his t-shirts — it's as if he's close by. My family life wasn't always perfect: we argued, yelled, didn't speak, broke up and got back together… But during one not-so-easy period, I asked myself: ‘Would I want to live with a person like me?’ No. Since then, I've been working on myself and our relationship. And as soon as I started to change, my husband also began to change,” K. wrote in 2014.
In 2020, wishing her husband a happy birthday, the woman wrote that she had been happy with him all these years. A year later, she began her greeting with the words: “Dear, my beloved person. I want to wish you to remain who you are: honest, kind, sensitive, and caring.”
In the summer of 2022, the couple furnished a two-room apartment in a prestigious residential complex. K. published videos about the renovation: she and her husband went shopping, chose furniture, lamps, and dishes. From the outside — a regular couple, a normal life.
However, recently the woman seemed depressed. She herself wrote that she had even disappeared from Instagram for a while.
“As far as I know, the police were called to her husband the day before the tragedy, and he wasn't seen that evening,” said a neighbor. — Around 11:10 on Wednesday (the day of the murder), police, OMON with automatic weapons, and an ambulance were already near the house. Everything in the apartment was covered in blood. The three of them lived there, and they also had a dog, with whom the man sometimes walked. I don't know exactly what happened. There were rumors (among neighbors) that K. wanted to divorce him.
